L-Glutamic Acid
Description:
Product Name: L-Glutamic Acid
Molecular Formula: C5H9NO4
Molecular Weight: 147.13
CAS No: 56-86-0
L-Glutamic Acid is an essential constituent of the bacterial peptidoglycan structure. The conversion of L-glutamate to D-glutamate by glutamate racemase (GR) enzyme is an essential step in the synthesis of peptidoglycan.
There are two forms of glutamic acid found in nature: L-glutamic acid and D-glutamic acid. D-glutamic acid, is not endogenously produced in higher mammals. It is found naturally primarily in the cell walls of certain bacteria. D-glutamate is also present in certain foods e.g., soybeans and also arises from the turnover of the intestinal tract microflora, whose cell walls contain significant D-glutamate. Unlike other D-amino acids, D-glutamate is not oxidized by the D-amino acid oxidases, and therefore this detoxification pathway is not available for handling D-glutamate.
Glutamic acid (symbol Glu or E) is an α-amino acid that is used by almost all living beings in the biosynthesis of proteins. It is non-essential in humans, meaning the body can synthesize it. It is also an excitatory neurotransmitter, in fact the most abundant one, in the vertebrate nervous system. It serves as the precursor for the synthesis of the inhibitory gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in GABA-ergic neurons.
Glutamic acid is an acidic amino acid. Glutamate important role in the metabolic processes of proteins in vivo, the involvement of animals, plants and many important chemical reactions.

Function:
1.Glutamic acid as an important nutrient for human growth, not only has a special physiological role, but also has a unique feature in the food industry.
2. Glutamic acid as a flavor enhancer can be used to enhance the flavor of the beverage and food.
3. Glutamic acid can be used as a nutritional drug. Glutamic acid for hair restorer, can be absorbed by the scalp, prevent hair loss and hair newborn. Glutamic acid to the skin, the treatment of wrinkles is curative.
4. Glutamic acid can be used in medicine, because glutamic acid is one of the amino acids of protein. Although it is not essential amino acids the human body, it can be used as carbon and nitrogen nutrients involved in the body's metabolism. Glutamic acid has a higher nutritional value.
Application:
1.Food industry.
L-Glutamate/L Glutamate/Glutamic Acid is one of the basic amino acids of nitrogen metabolism in living organisms and is of great significance in metabolism. L-glutamic acid is a major component of protein, and glutamate is ubiquitous in nature.
2.Daily necessities.
L-Glutamate/L Glutamate/Glutamic Acid is the world's largest producer of amino acids and can be used as a nutraceutical for skin and hair. It is used in hair growth agents, can be absorbed by the scalp, prevent hair loss and regenerate hair, has nutritional functions on hair nipples and hair cells, and can dilate blood vessels, enhance blood circulation
3.Can be used as a modifier for soap.
L-Glutamate/L Glutamate/Glutamic Acid is a natural botanical ingredient produced by the world's most advanced bio-enzyme engineering technology.
4.Pharmaceutical industry.
L-Glutamate/L Glutamate/Glutamic Acid can also be used in medicine because glutamate is one of the amino acids that make up a protein. Although it is not an essential amino acid, it can be used as a carbon and nitrogen nutrient to participate in the metabolism of the body and has a high nutritional value.
