Phenibut

Product Name: Phenibut
CAS NO.: 1078-21-3
CAS NO.:1078-21-3
What is Phenibut?
Phenibut is actually derived from GABA, which is a neurotransmitter that is found in the barrier between one's blood and brain. It was originally discovered in Russia, and people have been using it to treat anxiety in that country since the 1960s. It's original use was targeted towards astronauts who were dealing with higher levels of stress and anxiety while they were in space for long periods of time. This supplement is often compared to when it comes to its ability to reduce stress, although the strength of Phenibut is not as severe as most pharmaceutical drugs. Many people often refer to it as a nootropic or "smart drug". In the United States,Phenibut is in combination with other dietary supplements.

Phenibut Benefits
Anxiety-reduction is the most commonly recognized benefit of phenibut and was documented by Izyaslav Lapin. Anxiety may be caused by the brain focusing on and overworking unimportant details. Turning off this distracting neuron processing may free the person to process a broader, more productive range of stimuli.
Reduces Social Anxiety
This anxiolytic effect can lead to more rewarding social interactions. There is some limited research supporting enhanced cognitive processing following phenibut consumption, but the primary and supported benefit is anxiolytic.
People that have sought to improve their interactions in social settings have reported better results with the supplement than with alcohol or prescription anxiety medications. Attempted stress and anxiety reduction using traditional tranquilizers often leads to sleepiness and reduced cognitive ability. This undesired side effect isn't present with phenibut supplementation.
Restores Healthy Sleep Patterns
People living through depression, anxiety, stressful life events, and hormonal changes, like menopause, often report deteriorating sleep quality. Some have been unsuccessful using melatonin and are unwilling to use pharmaceutical sleep aids. The lack of quality sleep can create an unbroken cycle of impaired cognitive processing, leading to more anxiety, and resulting in even more lost sleep. Phenibut used as an ataractic supplement or sedative can restore helpful, natural sleep patterns, duration, and quality.
We recommend phenibut to persons who are just beginning to experience sleep problems. The ability to fall asleep, remain asleep, and maintain extended periods of healthy, refreshingly deep sleep may be restored quickly with the aid of the supplement. Recapturing healthy sleep patterns early in the destruction process can head off cognitive and emotional problems down the road that may result from the exhaustion.
Phenibut Mode of Action
1. Phenibut is a derivative of the naturally occurring inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA;
2. Phenibut is used by bodybuilders to reduce fatigue and improve neurological functions;
3. Phenibut has been and is still used medically to treat stress, relieve tension, improve sleep, and as a potentiate for other medications.
Phenibut Dosage:
Phenibut is a powerful compound that is best started at a low dosage with careful monitoring.
While the exact ideal phenibut dosage is not known and can vary from person to person, many users report that that 250 mg daily helps them to operate at their optimal level. Others have needed slowly to increase ingestion, gradually reaching levels closer to the 1000 mg daily target. Phenibut lasts up to 24 hours in the human body, so once a dose is ingested, it is best to wait for the supplement to be fully assimilated before further dosing.
Function:
1) Phenibut is used by bodybuilders to reduce fatigue and improve neurological functions.
2) Phenibut has been and is still used medically to treat stress, relieve tension, improve sleep, and as a potentiate for other medications.
3)Phenibut is a derivative of the naturally occurring inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA.
Application:
1)Phenibut is a central depressant and analog of the inhibitory neurotransmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), or a GABA analogue. The addition of a phenyl ring allows phenibut to cross the blood-brain barrier. Phenibut was developed in the Soviet Union in the 1960s, and has since been used there as a pharmaceutical drug to treat a wide range of ailments, including posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, asthenia, insomnia, alcoholism, stuttering, and vestibular disorders, and other conditions.
2)Phenibut is a close structural analogue of GABA, as well as of baclofen (β-(4-chlorophenyl)-GABA), pregabalin (β-isobutyl-GABA), and GABOB (β-hydroxy-GABA). Phenibut is believed to act as a selective GABAB receptor agonist; studies are conflicting as to whether phenibut also acts as a GABAA receptor agonist. More recently, phenibut has been found to act preferentially as a blocker of α2δ subunit-containing voltage-gated calcium channels, similarly to gabapentin and pregabalin. As such, by definition, phenibut is a gabapentinoid.
